Job Description
mig33 is a social entertainment platform company that offers a variety of communication solutions across different platforms. We’re looking for people who enjoy problem solving, have no fear of complex, dynamic systems, who can create tools and develop quality software, as well as communicate effectively with both techies and non-techies alike. We love Open Source Software, and our in-house systems are usually written in Java, PHP, Ruby, or Python.
You can:
- Develop good quality software server, web, or mobile systems – including considerations for testability, scalability, reliability, internationalization, support and operations requirements
- Have fun working in collaboration with a cross-functional team of product managers, user experience designers, engineers, and QA
- Recommend best practices and improvements to existing systems and processes
- Write good documentation

- Knowledge in one of the following: PHP, Java, J2ME, Android
- Knowledge in data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis
- Working knowledge of version control systems
- Knowledge in the following areas desired: networking, databases, distributed systems, iPhone/Android/Blackberry development, test automation
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Proficiency with cross platform development
- Exceptional problem solving and communication skills
- Desire to work in a collaborative environment on really interesting problems
- A good sense of humor
