Metalworks is the global R&D division of Maxus, the world’s fastest growing media agency for four years (Recma). Founded in 2012, Metalworks is based in Singapore and led by Nico Abbruzzese and Tom Kelshaw. Metalworks empowers Maxus and the agency’s clients to Lean Into Change through creative technology research and development by bridging the gap between digital and physical worlds.
Metalworks is a team of 10 creatives and technologists: modern all-round lateral thinkers. The division sits at the core of Maxus, delivering interactive experiences for clients including, Chrysler/Jeep/Fiat, L'Oréal, Jetstar, Nokia, Vodafone, BT, Tesco & Courts.

Work Responsibilities
- Tell a story through moving images for conceptual products and ideas about the future.
- Participate in drafting the script and draw storyboards for pre-production.
- Cast actors/actresses for projects.
- Be involved in production as an assistant director.
- Edit and colour grade the final video in post-production.
- Add motion graphics through a software suite like Adobe After Effects.
- Tell a story through animated motion graphics
Working Hours and Days:
10am - 6pm work day from Monday to Friday (for Internships)
Venue: China Square Central (nearest MRT Station, Chinatown)
Requirements
- You have directed and edited at least one short film.
- You have a keen interest in new technology and its possibilities.
- You have keen sense for visual design and/or film aesthetics.
- We value people who learn fast and are willing to pick up the unfamiliar.
