We had great success with our intern last year and would love to take on another one this year. Media Pop is a flat company with a technically strong team of full stack developers. We primarily deal with Python/Django projects with a fairly modern development stack. We utilize:

* Django, utilising all the modern tools available to us like South and Celery.

* Jenkins for continuos integration

* Unittests

* Amazon Web Services

* Git/GitHub

* Responsive designs

* Phonegap/Cordova

* Just about anything that relates to HTML5, javascript, css and the lot.

* Red Hat/Ubuntu

* Dozens of API's to Facebook, Instagram and other places.

We are also really fast at development, so the right candidate will have a great time learning new things and trying to catch up. 🙂

========= Job Scope ===========

Your primary responsibility will be to offload the senior developers. Initially you'll handle HTML/CSS/JavaScript stuff as you get familiar with our environment. You'll then transition into handling smaller projects on your own, with mentoring and initiative we expect you to handle your own project towards the end of the internship.
