Job Description
- Drafting of press materials for press kits, website and social media content
- Execute and plan public relations campaign (Press Event and Launches)
- Interact with top SG bloggers and create a solid bloggers network
- Liaising on a daily basis with clients and the media, often via telephone and email
- Relationship building and networking with clients, potential clients and the media
- Monitoring the media, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires and blogs, as well as business development opportunities with clients
- Develop client proposals and implement the PR activity
- Preparing regular client reports and attending client meetings
- Researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media
- Promoting news stories and features to the media, known as 'selling in'
- Collating, analyzing and evaluating media coverage
- Event management, including press conferences and promotional events; attending and promoting client events to the media
- Assisting with the production of client publications, such as in-house magazines
- Commissioning market research; coordinating studio or location photography
- Undertaking research for new business proposals and presenting to potential current and new clients

- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to think outside the box and be creative
- Effective organizational skills to plan and formulate strategies
- Ability to implement strategies by using or adapting tactics
- Ability to adjust to and work with teams
- Confidence and quick decision-making abilities
- Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and meeting deadlines
- Interest in and awareness of markets and business results implications
- Excellent knowledge of our clients' present and past product lines
- Ability to identify market segments, niches, and potential markets
- Thorough knowledge of competitors' products and services
Qualifications
- Diploma students or undergraduates pursuing in mass communications or business related function
- 1+ years experience in PR agencies or in the travel / retail / F&B sector
- Excellent relationships with local media outlets
- Outstanding communication skills, both spoken and written
- Effectively bi-lingual in English plus one other Asian language
