MAGES Institute of Excellence – Graphic Design Intern

A graphic design intern’s primary duty will be to assist the Sales/Marketing Team in the creation of business development and marketing collateral. This may include, (but not limited to) designing proposals and presentations, newsletters, EDMs (electronic direct mailers), posters and ads. You will be working in a fast-paced environment; therefore the ability to take art directions and work independently is a must.

Responsibilities:

•Assist the Sales/Marketing Team in the creation of business development and marketing collateral

•Update the internal marketing materials such as toolkits brochures

•Provide design support to the Regional Designer on project related work

•Assist in design of proposals and presentations, EDMs, posters and ads

•Produce creative ideas and concepts for design requests such as marketing events and client development initiatives

Qualifications:

•Diploma in Visual Communications or Graphic Design, or related field required

•Knowledgeable of Static and Interactive Design

•Creative and able to communicate ideas visually, verbally and in writing

•Ability to read and interpret instructions, creative briefs, correspondence, notes or revisions

•Must enjoy working as part of a team and be comfortable to talk through ideas with colleagues within the region

•Strong Design skills in Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign
