Made Real is a subscription lifestyle service providing healthy and yummy snacks for those who yearn for clean eating habits. They are looking for one special skill here: Web development. If you are a combination of an innovative web developer and healthy snacker, this is definitely a job for you, as a Front-End Web Developer at Made Real.
Made Real's core beliefs of Balance, Confidence and Independence were derived largely from the personal beliefs of its founders: an energetic and passionate pair of best friends who founded Made Real on the ideals of raising awareness for eating disorder suffers. We present a unique opportunity to work along side a fiery team of young entrepreneurs and to be a part of an exciting journey where the destination is defined by no one else but yourself.
Your Task
Develop responsive web app for both client and user side. There is already a gorgeous Made Real website, but you have to help to improve it, and also make it work compatibly for mobile devices.
API integration to facilitate processes such as payment.
Good knowledge with MVC architecture to be able to develop efficient and reliable web applications.
Integrate code with CMS to allow for easy management of content and create an intuitive, simple, and functional backend system.
SEO Optimisation to help increase traffic coming in via search engines.
Requirements
At least one full stack development experience
Good skills in HTML5, CSS and bootstrap
Javascript, jQuery and any other frameworks will be a merit (eg. AngularJS)
Past project portfolio (must be main incharge of the project)
Web service knowledge
Preferred Skills
Experience with Shopify (custom themes, familiar with liquid Templating language) will be a merit
Knowledge with SQL database will be advantageous
Knowledge in SEO/SEM will be advantageous
