Job Description
The primary role of the Business Development Intern will be to work with the core team on channel partnership projects with external partners and organizations. In addition, he/she will be required to take on marketing duties, inclusive of Search Engine Marketing (SEM) research, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Social Media Marketing (SMM), creation of Electronic Direct Mailers (EDMs) as well as content creation.
The Business Development Intern will also be required to work with core team members to conceptualize, design and implement customer marketing programs. He or she will also be required to perform administrative duties to maintain the company's e-commerce platform and to function as the company's admin contact. Prior experience with maintaining an e-commerce platform will be most relevant for this position.
