The company is part of the global LS travel retail group, which operates one of the largest networks of travel retail stores, across 21 countries and more than 125 airports throughout Europe, North America, Asia and the Pacific. LS travel retail is a division of Lagardere Services.

Our company is seeking to employ a highly motivated Business Development Intern to support the business development of LS travel retail businesses in Asia. The role requires someone who is capable of quickly gaining an understanding of the business operations at a high leel as well as the ability to work in a detailed, analytical and hands-on manner.

Role

• To research and analyse business parameters, market studies, etc in order to better understand local needs and requirements, to ensure reliable and accurate Business Plans

• Prepare and conduct projects/ presentations to support the business development team, for internal reviews for decision-making and approvals.

• Collaborate and support Business Development in setting-up and maintaining internal system to allow for benchmarking, database, etc, in order to optimise the response time to respond to tenders.

• Interpret financial, statistical and other information and provide value adding analysis in terms of cost, budgets, policies, operations, trends and opportunities to improve project profitability

The role reports to the Strategy and Development Director, Asia.

Qualifications & Experience

• Pursuing tertiary qualifications in finance or related discipline with excellent knowledge of accounting concepts.

• Excellent MS Excel spreadsheet skills

• Well versed in preparing quality presentations (to state software skills) as well as confidence in presenting plans/ projects

• Good fluent English is mandatory
