KWJ Piano School offers piano lessons for all ages. Our specialised curriculum is tailor-made to ensure an all-rounded musical education (including practical, technical, theory and ear-training elements), whilst at the same time bringing to life the joys of expressing one’s self through music and piano playing. Our wide variety of courses range from preparing students for their ABRSM examinations, to mentorships for adult learners. In particular, our breakthrough children's group/individual classes incorporate games and story-telling into lessons. This interactive learning style fast-tracks their progress as they learn leaps and bounds without even realising, as they’ll be having so much fun! We guarantee they’ll be looking forward to every lesson! It is our passion to impart our musical knowledge onto the younger generation, and make it an enjoyable experience at that!
Job Description
There are many perks in being a Piano Teacher. There will always be music in the air and you can turn ordinary children into confident, passionate, creative and motivated individuals.
With no experience required, this is perfect for passionate teachers who want a place to start out and call home.
Your Task
Conduct individual and group (2-4 pax) piano lessons
Conduct trial classes for potential students
Attend teacher meetings and training sessions minimum once a month
Keep a detailed record sheet of your students' progress (and feel good about it!)
Be part of a close-knit team of piano teachers and participate in events such as annual recitals/educational fairs and promo events
Requirements
Minimum Grade 8 ABRSM preferred
No Experience requried (training will be provided)
A love for children and a strong passion in teaching and nurturing students!
