Job Description
A reputable and fast growing construction company in Singapore. We are currently sourcing for a QS/CONTRACTS MANAGER as part of our rapid growing plans.
Successful candidates can expect a competitive remuneration package and job challenges in planning and management.
- Oversee and perform general Contracts Management duties such as quantity take-off, preparation of costing, post contract administration
- Assist to prepare for tender of new projects and ensure that all contractual issues are fully understood and complied with on existing/new projects
- Negotiate commercial terms conditions for new and/or changed contracts with clients at multiple sites
- Responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting and co-ordination of the technical aspects of various projects with costing a crucial component
- Handle the tendering process such as sourcing for quotations and liasing with suppliers
- Perform Technical analysis and evaluation for material packages required by projects
- Settlement of progress claims, progress payments and finalizing project accounts within stipulated time frame

Qualification
- Diploma in Quantity Surveyor(QS) or Building or related course work
- Preferrably 2 years experience in the residential, commercial or retail structural work
- Experienced from exterior construction industry in Singapore will have added advantage
Skills
- Have good knowledge of quantity surveying work in road works ; good product and cost knowledge in road and structural work
- Good knowledge in residential (HDB), community building, commercial building submission, setup requirement, etc.
- Strong Initiatives, Organized and meticulous
- Able to work independently and ability to keep good reporting and documentation works
- Have good communication skills ( English & Mandarin) with engineers, project managers and also colleagues
- Interested in Hands-On experience ? We got it. You would also be provided with construction site training with actual materials and products
