KCT Engineering Pte Ltd – General Driver

General Driver Roles includes:

• To assist project coordination to fetch workers and materials daily.
• Transport clients, company staff, equipment, materials using company vehicles.
• To procure and collect equipment from store/supplier from time to time.
• To assist safety coordinator & project coordinator from time to time as necessary.
• Assist to do some housekeeping after job is completed at site
• Feedback to the safety coordinator when housekeeping is not properly done.

Please note that Drivers must adhere to the following:

• Observe Traffic Rules and Regulation and maximum speed limit as prescribed by the Land Transportation Authority ( LTA)
• The driver shall be responsible for the routine check-up of the vehicles , routine check-up to include but not limited to oil , brake function, water, lights & tire condition and the like
• During the waiting time either inside or outside of the company''s premises, the driver shall always stop the engine and electric power of assigned vehicles to save consumption of fuels
• Sleeping inside the vehicles is strictly not allowed
• The driver shall always drive the company’s vehicles safely and comfortably and must exercise defensive driving while on the road to prevent accident. Reckless driving shall be sufficient ground for driver''s recall and consequently be a cause of termination
• It is the sole responsibility of the driver to monitor expiration and renewal of his driver''s license without causing any inconvenience to the client or the company scheduled
• Fuel and necessary expenses for the maintenance shall be at the account of the company, however any expenses incurred by the driver without prior approval and knowledge of the company is not reimbursable
• The driver shall observe strictly the company rules and regulation, policies and directives and instruction of the Company
• Provide minimum assistance for site workers (eg. Smoothen the traffic flow when work is being carried out)

Requirement:

• Possess valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence

• Basic Communication Skills in English/Chinese
  
• Familar with Singapore Routes and Directory

• Able to perform 5.5 days week

• Have initiatives to improve worker''s welfare, organise best routes taken and to ensure general well-being of workers.
