Jankosoft Pte Ltd – Web Designer & Developer

Essential Functions

1. Codes, tests, debugs, documents and installs modified and new programs.

2. Works within specifications provided to meet programming assignment goals and objectives in a timely and accurate manner.

3. Takes independent action to correct problems encountered during systems testing and operations.

4. Maintains integrity of program logic and coding, and performs required checks for operational controls.

5. Meets expectations for attendance, punctuality and efficiency. 

6. Works overtime when required as the job can involve some pressure to meet tight deadlines. 

7. Multi-tasks as multiple projects run concurrently. 

Additional Responsibilities:

1. Project manage multiple projects. 

2. Provide user training, support and feedback. 

3. Produce procedural documentation as required.

4. Performs other duties as may be assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

1. Competent in more than one programming language - PHP & ASP.NET

2. Proficient in CMS systems - WordPress, Joomla & Drupal

3. Possess adequate skills as a basic user of Adobe Photoshop. 

4. Good Interpersonal skills.

5. Ability to work with limited supervision.

6. Ability to think logically for interpreting and analyzing problems assigned or encountered.

7. Clear, effective verbal and written communication skills.

8. Resourcefulness and ability to take the initiative in development and completion of work projects.

9. Good time management skills.

Training and Experience:

1. A local Polytechnic Diploma in IT/ICT or information systems or equivalent experience.

2. Fresh Polytechnic graduates are welcome to apply. 

3. Some prior experience as a computer programmer will be an added advantage.
