Job Description
GENERAL PAPER TUTOR (PART TIME/ FULL TIME/ UNI STUDENTS)
We are looking for a qualified tutor familiar with and passionate in teaching General Paper in the A-Level syllabus.
The tutor is given broad and concrete responsibilities from the get-go. The successful candidate is expected to be familiar with the GP syllabus and its mode of instruction. He/she should be comfortable in teaching in a small-group setting.
REQUIREMENTS
IvyPrep is looking for someone with a passion in education and writing.
Ideally, the candidate should have achieved a strong score for the A-Level General Paper exam and/or have prior experience in teaching English and writing.
This candidate should be a confident communicator who is prepared to liaise with students and parents. He/she should have strong verbal and written communication skills. He/she must be prepared to work independently and confidently without close, direct supervision.
TIME COMMITMENT FOR PART-TIMERS / UNIVERSITY STUDENTS
Minimum of once a week, two hours per appointment.
Minimum commitment of one (1) full academic year ending December 2015.
TIME COMMITMENT FOR FULL-TIMERS
Mondays to Fridays: 12:00PM to 7:00PM
