- MARKETING & ADVERTISING INTERN
Description
We are looking for a qualified marketing and advertising intern who is interested in marketing, advertising, corporate communications and education. The intern should ideally be pursuing a course in marketing/communications (or an equivalent course) at a university or polytechnic. He/She should also be well-versed in the digital media space and familiar with using major social media platforms such as Facebook.
The intern is given broad and concrete responsibilities from the get-go. We are confident that the intern will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of building a successful business.
The intern will also have the chance to work closely with a team of directors who have broad experiences in corporate finance, management consulting, broadcast journalism and public service.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist the company in creating a successful marketing campaign
• Participate in director and team meetings
• Assist with developing market outreach and branding strategies
• Contribute to website redesign project in various ways
• Prepare presentations for clients
• Provide support to social media efforts (Competent Powerpoint, Graphics Design and web design skills)
• Assist with the preparation of marketing materials
• Schedule and coordinate speaking engagements, sales meetings and student engagements
REQUIREMENTS
IvyPrep is looking for someone with a passion in marketing, advertising, corporate communications and education. This intern should be a confident communicator who is prepared to liaise with clients. He/she should have strong communication and writing skills. He/she should also ideally be highly familiar with digital media as well as the digital advertising space. He/she must be prepared to work independently and confidently without close, direct supervision. Ideally, the intern should display an interest in a future career in advertising, corporate communications or business management.
TIME COMMITMENT
Full-time. Approximately 30 - 40 hours a week.
