Job Description

The Opportunity

Being an intern with iPreciation will provide the individual with the opportunity to learn how art exhibition shows may be conceptualised and planned, how we work with the artists, and get involved with behind-the-scenes work of an art gallery. To learn in a real, live and practical environment, the individual will be expected to provide assistance in all IT related issues on day-to-day basis, research an alternative and more efficient way of managing databases and OpenERP program, assist in managing gallery website, maintaining gallery inventory and equipment, execution of programmes, assist in creation and dissemination of newsletter updates to database and public.

The Requirement

The individual must have a go-getter spirit, willing to work under pressure to meet deadlines and demands, able to multi-task and pay good attention to details. Ideally, he/she should be bilingual in English and Mandarin, with good written and oral communication abilities, and very efficient computer skills in programming, database systems and Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint). Working hours are Monday to Friday 10am to 7pm, Saturday 11am to 6pm (one off day on weekdays). During show opening evenings, reception duty may be required. We are open to discussing the duration and details of the internship.
