1)Evaluate the different ingredients used in creating the flavours relating to organic chemistry
2)Compounding & evaluation of flavourings
3)Spray drying of powdered flavours
4)Conduct triangle/ evaluation tests
5)General housekeeping in lab
2. Savoury Lab
Programme Scope:
- Basic seasonings and powder blends compounding
- seasonings and powder application to base
- Assisting in product development projects
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness
- Maintain ingredient inventory and data entry
3. Baking and Confectionery Applications lab
Programme Scope:
- Application of flavours in different end products
- Conduct Flavor performance tests
- Apply on theoretical knowledge of baking and confectionery ingredients
- Learn to apply on different packaging methods for different end products
- Lab equipment maintenance
- Data entry
4. For Beverages & Dairy Applications Lab
Programme Scope:
- Assist in preparation of prototype samples for flavour evaluation
- To familiarize and operate pilot plant equipment for sample preparation
- Flavour evaluation in beverage/ dairy bases
- Familiarize with IFF flavour system
- General housekeeping
