- Job Description
- This is a junior writing position. Good writing skills and the willingness to work hard is a must. The job is 9am to 6pm every weekday, with opportunities to attend movie screenings, concerts and events during and outside of work hours. Other requirements:
- Must be well versed in all things pop culture (music, film, arts, entertainment)
- Must demonstrate a genuine passion for journalism
- Must be active on social media but interested in how social tools and platforms can further our journalism efforts and grow readership
- Must be excited about the possibilities of non-traditional story-telling
- Must be a motivated self-starter who is proactive in their work
- Must have good etiquette (on and offline - good social media etiquette ranks high up there).
- Must be detail oriented, and able to think ahead
