Job Description

Teaching Assistant (TA) / Coordinator

As an Innovating TA / Coordinator, you will assist the lead trainer and guide our program participants per our unique curriculum designed by global experts.

We expect you to have a strong understanding of children, and work with the trainer and the Innovating minds team to assist in delivering the trainings appropriately for children of various age groups. You must be willing to help the teacher in various responsibilities to accomplish the training objectives.  Your key responsibilities include: 

1.       Assist the trainer with delivery of the material and other related activities

2.       Preparing age-appropriate teaching aids to make the delivery of the material easier

3.       Facilitation and coordination in classroom for effective management and maintaining discipline

4.       Assist in orienting the new participants

5.       Assist in assessing and tracking results for each child

6.       Assist in creating a performance report (including development areas) for each child

7.       Maintaining good relationship with students and parents

8.       Gather feedback from students and parents through survey / evaluation forms

9.       Rendering basic first aid where necessary 

       Requirement

 ·         At least a diploma in any related field (Education, Psychology, Training, etc)

·         At least 1 year of experience in teaching or working with children of different ages.

·         International experience is a plus.

·         Proficient in MS Suite especially Excel and Power Point.

·         Fluent in English (verbal and written) and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

·         Motivated individual with creative, innovative, and inspiring abilities.

·         Ability to connect with children and good team player with effective classroom management skills.
