Indiezain is an e-commerce startup. We offer unique and hip products by Asian indie designers. This includes clothing, jewelries, bags, gadgets (and accessories) and furnitures. Our target market is people ages 18-45, who are fashion-conscious and are willing to pay a premium for something uniquely stylish. Our sales are initially focused to the Asian region, with the aim of becoming a global e-commerce player in two to three years.
We are offering a Digital Marketing internship opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference! The three-month internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in an exciting e-commerce startup. You will not only sharpen your practical skill-base supporting Indiezain’s SEO, social media, and email marketing campaigns, but also gain an understanding of business development in a digital startup.
What can you expect as an intern with Indiezain? Big responsibilities and a steep learning curve! No photocopying, sending faxes, or making coffees. You will be doing things that make a difference for the company. This is an opportunity for someone who is hard-working and is passionate about entrepreneurship.Responsibilities:
§ Develop marketing strategy to acquire and engage followers and customers
§ Assist in developing and managing Indiezain’s Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts
§ Implement email marketing campaigns
§ Write blogs, social posts and other customer-facing contents
§ Assist in identifying products to be offered in our website
Requirements:
§ Great interpersonal skills
§ Attention to details
§ Stellar English writing skills, which includes excellent spelling and grammar
§ Experience of using social media in a marketing context
§ Understanding of basic SEO concepts
§ Ability to manage multiple tasks and strategies
§ Ability to work independently and complete projects, and work as a team
§ Good at graphic design and have experience with Adobe creative products (e.g. Photoshop);
§ Creativity and resourcefulness!
