The business and marketing intern will be an integral part of Igloohome’s go-to-market. Your primary focus will be to execute our customer acquisition strategy, help maximize sales revenue and ensuring a consistent and compelling marketing message to our customers. You will drive our new market launches, via existing or new marketing channels and improving them through creative/copy testing.
Work to be done
- Design and execute social media strategy
- Execute community engagement activities via content marketing or organiziation of events
- Deliver compelling marketing copy and blog posts
- Liaise with business partners to drive new market launches
Skills:
- Experience in writing copy and knowing what it takes to make a compelling ad with a strong call to action.
- Experience in social media management and developing an online brand presence
- Strong oral and communication skills, possess intellectual curiosity and excellent problem solving skills
- Strong academic credentials especially in the disciplines of marketing, business management and communications
- Experience with search engine optimization a bonus to help drive online web presence
- Experience with direct mailing and ability to opitimize cost for customer acquisition
- Loves traveling and is familiar with Airbnb or equivalent networks
