The ICC Academy will be a leading centre providing executive education programs worldwide. The goal of the ICC Academy is to enhance the knowledge and expertise of practitioners from a wide range of business sectors, to propose continuous learning opportunities and to promote the highest standards of workforce competency.
Specific responsibilities of the position
Under the supervision of the ICC Academy Head of Technology, the individual will support the implementation of the ICC Academy’s information management systems and tools, including the main website, the Learning Management System (LMS), the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and all other systems related to membership and events management.
Specific duties include:
· Plan the delivery and configuration of the main systems and related activities in accordance with the mission and the goals of the ICC Academy.
· Ensure that the online platform activities operate within the policies and procedures of the ICC Academy and develop a robust plan for updating the systems as required.
· Ensure configuration of all systems. Test and validate systems’ updates including third-party provider upgrades and communicate changes to stakeholders, as needed.
· Analyze systems factors for technology products – including input/output requirements, information flow, hardware/software requirements, and the reliability of such products.
· Develop and maintain a comprehensive documentation for new or existing technology products, as needed.
· Support ongoing evaluation of all systems’ ability to meet the needs of the ICC Academy.
· Work with vendors to upload and test courses and/or assessments on the main LMS.
· Ensure that all e-commerce functions are operational on a full-time basis.
· Ensure testing of system functionality, configurations, and the assurance of the correct migration of the data into the LMS and other systems.
· Support users, develop a trouble shooting policy, analyze issues and research/implement resolutions. Typical issues may include: Access to courses, assessments, reports; Course malfunction; Link malfunction; Issues with web browser settings; Record issues on reporting software etc.
· Serve as LMS technical lead to the ICC Academy customers for all technical queries.
Experience and expertise
Within the context of the role described above, the ideal applicant will be someone who has the following key capabilities:
1. A minimum of 1 years’ experience as support of a customer-facing, enterprise system.
2. Working knowledge of SCORM course integration standards and of content development tools, such as Articulate, Captivate, Flash, HTML5, etc.
3. Ability to analyze content issues developed in HTML, Flash, and other development tools.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication, with an emphasis on customer service and follow up.
5. Experience in the Cornerstone LMS specifically could be an asset, but is not a requirement.
6. Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, and Access reporting.
7. Demonstrated capacity to develop and manage interpersonal relationships and establish productive relationship with third-party vendors.
The position will require outstanding oral and written communication skills are also important since she has to coordinate and pass across information to the program development team as well as the firm's stakeholders. Proficiency in computer application skills is essential.
Language requirements
The candidate must speak, read and write English fluently. Knowledge of other languages would be an asset.
Educational requirements
The candidate must have at minimum a complete or in-progress Bachelor’s Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent technical training, certifications and/or experience.
