You will be exposed to a wide variety of business functions within a short period of time, and experience the full growth trajectory of new business start-ups from seeding to consolidation to exit. You will also work with a wide array of talented individuals from different backgrounds and nationalities, and will gain deep insights into regional and international markets. We believe that through empowering people to take important decisions, we will be able to unleash latent potential and creativity – which will be beneficial to both the individual and the team.

Job Description
We are looking to recruit a Creative Intern to support our Creative Team. You will be supervised and mentored by an experienced creative director, and will work with a team to produce graphics, visuals, marketing collateral and other content for social media and internet distribution. You will be exposed to a wide variety of creative roles and will watch your textbook knowledge come to life before your eyes!

The content produced by our Creative Team is responsible for keeping users and readers engaged and active, so you will get the opportunity to be part of something awesome - moreover, you will have the chance to see how your design and conceptual skills can be applied to make a real, direct difference in the commercial world.

Requirements:

- You must have an intermediate to advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop plus one of Adobe Illustrator / Adobe InDesign

- You must have some experience with graphic design and/or web design, either through a formal academic program or through practical experience (e.g. as a freelancer)

- Ideally, you should be a penultimate or final year student in a recognised Degree or Diploma program relevant to graphic design, marketing, mass communications or similar. However, if you have a different academic background but have a keen interest in the creative fields, you are welcome to apply as long as you have the requisite skill sets and mentality.

- You should a responsible team player who is eager to learn and willing to take initiative. You should also be comfortable working independently in an extremely dynamic and entrepreneurial environment in which bureaucracy and 'structure' is kept to a minimum.

- Interns will be paid a generous transport and meal allowance of in cash on a monthly basis. However this will not constitute "salary" or "remuneration" as we do not believe that internships should be a way for us to hire employees at a reduced cost. Instead, we view internships as a training attachment, an intermediate step between school and the real world. You will NOT be made to perform menial tasks like photocopying documents or licking stamps! Instead, you will go through a supervised, experiential learning journey with a team that is truly dedicated to your personal development. You will not be given tasks or KPIs as full-time employees would, but instead, you will be asked to set your own growth and learning targets and will be provided with an experience specifically designed to facilitate the attainment of these targets.

This position is already closed and no longer available.  You may like to view the other latest internships here.
