Job Description
Hoiio is hiring 2 interns for the position of Developer Evangelists.
Hoiio ( http://developer.hoiio.com ) provides powerful web APIs that help developers integrate communication capabilities easily (think of SMS, phone calls, IVR, conferencing, etc). What used to be expensive and difficult, is now very cheap and easy. Our API is a disruptive technology for developers.
We want more developers to know about this disruptive API, and to create more awesome apps. That's why we need the help of developer evangelists.
The primary task is to build awareness for Hoiio API. As a Developer Evangelist, you must be able to find developers, engage them, and help them to get started.
Some of the other tasks includes:
- online marketing
- writing blog posts
- tweeting
- discussing on Google+/Quora/LinkedIn
- sending emails
- developing mashups
- writing sample codes or tools
- attending developer conferences
- presenting or demo to developers
It will be a fun and enriching internship. We promise.
The interns should be from the field of computing, or is a self-proclaimed geek. There is no contract, so you can work 1 month, or 6 months, and you can start anytime when ready. If you plan to work part-time during your study, we welcomed that too!
