We have built a young, motivated and enthusiastic team who work hard to balance creativity with strategy development and execution, but we are looking to expand! Currently we are looking for a Marketing & Communications Executive to join our growing team.
We are looking for an experienced PR & Communications professional who is familiar with Singapore’s media landscape to develop and grow Helpling’s brand across Singapore. You will work with the Marketing Manager on direct marketing actions, and be responsible for the PR and Social Media Management across all our platforms. Your role will involve the following:
- Devising and executing all Direct Marketing efforts to raise Helpling’s profile on both the client and partner sides
- Developing and maintaining mutually beneficial, strategic partnerships with other start-ups and MNCs to increase our reach within the community
- Responsible for the management of all Direct Sales activities – e.g. organizing promotional events at conferences, exhibitions, shows, etc
- Working across departments to develop, maintain and drive a rolling editorial calendar that leverages on opportunities across a range of media and liaising with media and pitching for opportunities
- Writing and developing content in-house as well as in conjunction with partners, for example blog posts, newsletters, videos and other creative material for Social Media channels
- Community Management across all Social Media platforms – building and developing Helpling’s brand name, strengthening the Helpling Community, driving engagement and increasing fan base etc
- At least 2 years local experience in PR (agency experience preferred) – with experience pitching to media and writing press releases, articles and other PR-related content
- Experience in, or exposure to the marketing/sales functions, with experience planning and managing events
- Established Home and Lifestyle contacts across print, broadcast, digital and social media
- Good command of English (both written and oral)
- Degree qualified and experience working in a start-up environment (or passion for entrepreneurship) preferred. We’re in a dynamic, challenging and exciting environment – so an open mind and willingness to try new things, work under pressure and adapt to new circumstances is a must!
- Analytical and proactive, with the ability to work independently to tight deadlines (in coordination with HQ in Berlin)
