Job Description

• Work experience in the CBD of multicultural Singapore, one of the world’s leading commercial centres and has been ranked the world’s ‘most liveable city’ (by ECA International)
• Daily cooperation with our Managing Director, a former McKinsey-Consultant and INSEAD MBA
• Insights into: Working in Asia; the executive search/ recruiting industry; the management consulting industry; the activities of Global Fortune 500 companies in Asia (esp. China and South-East-Asia)
• Exposure to ‘cutting edge’ tools in the following areas: Social networking (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook); CRM/ customer relationship management (we use a tool similar to Salesforce.com); Candidate-management/ ATS (ATS = Applicant Tracking System)
• Demanding but friendly and very international team
• Competitive compensation (however, as usual for international internships, the compensation will not cover 100% of your living expenses)
Tasks
• ‘Right hand‘ of the Managing Director and founder of a successful boutique executive search/ recruiting-company
• Broad range of activities: Research, database management, advertisements, preparation of brief reports, ad-hoc projects
• Unlike other internships, you will do ‘real work‘, not just write a report
Requirements
• Applicants MUST fulfil the stringent requirements for the Singapore 'WHP- Work-Holiday-Programme':

• Current student in a leading university (according to the WHP criteria), e.g., in IT, Finance, Business, HR...
• An eye for detail/ ability to work diligently and produce perfect output (not just an 80% solution)
• First practical experiences are a MUST (e.g., apprenticeships, holiday jobs, internships, student jobs)
• First experience in research/ recruiting/ HR is a plus (interest is a must)
• First international experience is a plus
• Good IT skills: solid PC-knowledge, esp. Microsoft Excel and Word and Internet applications
• Fluent English is a must, Mandarin Chinese (written, simplified characters) and/ or German are a plus
• Hands-on, flexible and proactive
• High ethical standards
