Job Description
We're looking for keen learners and independent thinkers who are interested in pursuing a career in fashion publishing. Interested applicants must be able to commit THREE months or more, five days a week and must be able to start IMMEDIATELY.
REQUIREMENTS:
REQUIREMENTS:
- Presently studying for a diploma or degree in communications or equivalent (if you're not but are passionate, we may consider you!)
- A strong interest in fashion, beauty, lifestyle, luxury jewellery and pop culture
- Good command of written and spoken English
- More than familiar with social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
- Competent to proficient in Adobe Photoshop and/or InDesign
- Ability to work with tight deadlines and pressure
- A creative mind with full of ideas, a willingness to learn
- Prior experience in journalism/fashion is not mandatory but definitely preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assisting editors and writers in their stories
- Assisting stylists for and during photo shoots
- Coordinating sample loans and returns (that is, you must be able to handle the weight of all those designer dresses and accessories!)
- Creating content for the magazine
- Creating content for the website
- Assisting in the management of social media accounts
