Job Description
Laboratory Technician has the responsibilities to ensure laboratory efficiency and compliance of the manufacturing plant. As part of our Quality team, you should strive to work as a key team player and ensure continuous improvement in standards and quality of our products.
Responsibilities:
• Perform QC inspection: incoming, in-process and finished products
• Monitor Critical Control Points in manufacturing processes
• Perform microbiological testing on finished products
• Perform maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
• Prepare samples for sensory and evaluation
• Maintain proper documentation
• Assist in quality audits and prepare audit reports after each factory inspection
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in all areas of the plant
• Perform laboratory housekeeping
• Provide technical support to product development team
• Undertake any other duties as assigned by superiors from time to time
Job Specifications:
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Food Science & Technology or Chemical Process Technology or equivalent in years of similar working experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of GLP and cGMP will be and added advantage
• Team player with initiative, drive & good interpersonal skills
• Possess positive working attitude
