Have you always been fascinated by how startups start from nothing, develop a product, and rapidly grow to tens and hundreds of thousands of users within a few months’ time? Do you want to help make that a reality and have a direct impact on an organization? Would you prefer to get real business experience rather than taking a position as an invisible cog in a large multinational machine just to brag to your friends?
If you answered “YES!” to all of the above, Halza is for you!As an intern, you will get to work on real projects that will help the company grow, particularly on their upcoming product launch (projected to be in July 2016). Your main responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
· Assisting in the launching of Halza App;
· Contributing to the development of the product roadmap;
· Working with the business team on developing digital marketing strategies and executing on those plans such as:
o Driving online traffic through various digital marketing and growth hacking activities
o Managing content generation for blog and social media accounts
o Monitoring, analysing, and optimizing various marketing channels;
· Building relationships with Influencers, Bloggers, and Online Media Outlets;
· Conducting market research, surveys and user testing;
· Coordinating focus groups and other customer development activities;
· Attending customer and partner meetings;
· Helping in other adhoc activities as appropriate and necessary.Requirements
· A curiosity about entrepreneurship and/or the healthcare/medical industry
· Comfortable with change and ambiguity
· Willing to work hard in a startup environment
· Self-driven and able to take initiative
· Dynamic and willing to take on different roles in the company
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Familiar and comfortable with communications through various online channels
· Plus, if you have experience in a Startup/Digital Marketing environment
· Plus, if you have proficiency with Photoshop/Illustrator
· Plus, if you have proficiency with WordPress
