Responsibilities

• Write content that's entertaining, distinctive and sharable.
• Brainstorm, pitch ideas and research for a number of content categories including major sporting events, health & nutrition, and sports gear. 
• Be plugged in to the daily social media conversation, and be able to react at speed.
• Up-to-date with the latest happenings in the local/international sports scene.

 Skills

• Good research and writing skills with an understanding of the special requirements of writing for the Web. 
• Good interpersonal skills to work effectively with editor-in-chief and designers. 
• Good organizational skills to collate material from multiple sources and produce web content within tight deadlines.

Qualifications

Candidates must be currently pursuing at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Mass Communications, Media, and Communications or its equivalent. A passion for sports, health & wellness, and lifestyle writing would be an advantage.
