Job Description
GreenCloud Labs is an 'Idealab' focussed on creating successful technology start-ups from internally generated venture ideas - our fields of focus being Green ICT, Internet and Mobile Media.
The founders of Greencloud Labs include the ex-founder of Soundbuzz and ex-founding team member of RedHat Inc. (NASDAQ: RHT). We are looking for interns that can work on either a time basis or project basis. We are are results focussed and hence flexible with time / location. We offer a unique opportunity to be exposed to multiple cutting-edge technology ventures and the chance to gain valuable experience and exposure to the exciting world of technology start-ups.
======= Job Scope =======
The successful candidate will work closely with the Founders of GreenCloud Labs and be highly involved in the following aspects of the business:
- Project scoping / technical analysis
- Hands-on programming / testing
- Product improvement / management
======= Job requirements =======
- Experience in Computer Science or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of PHP, SQL, XML, CSS and HTML
- Experience with social network apps / api's highly desirable
- Able to work in a start-up environment; self-motivated and resourceful
- Excellent communication skills
