ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understand GE's Integration Environment, by participating in the Analysis, Meetings and Discussions
- Gather, Consolidate and Finalize the Inventory List for all Batch and Online Interfaces as Base Inventory List
- Verify the Base Inventory Draft against each Application Configurations for both Online & Batch integration
- Validate the Base Inventory against each Application Implementation in the Data Centre for both Online & Batch Integration
- Automate the process for Ongoing future maintenance of this Base Inventory through Application Scripts
- Repeat all of the above for each GE Entities in all the countries in the region (GELS, GELB, GELM, GETSB, GELV, GELIndo)
Background
EAI stands for "Enterprise Application Integration" that are broadly classified in Two major areas:
1. Online Integration of various Applications that serves various touch-points like Internet Websites, IVR Phone Link, Customer Care Online systems, etc.
2. Batch Integration of various Applications that are Back-end Batch processing of Business data during End of Day or Month, or Year jobs, etc.
Applications involved in the Interconnecting Interfaces for these Integrations are:
1. Policy Admin Applications
2. Point-Of-Sales Applications
3. Enterprise Applications
4. Business Intelligence Applications
5. Customer Acquisition Applications
6. Periphery Touch Point Applications
These systems exchanges their Business Logic and data using any of the below depending on Business needs.
1. either in Batch mode
2, or in Online mode
3. or in Hybrid mode
