  • Working knowledge of government tenders via GEBIZ
  • In charge of conceptualizing, planning and organising new and innovative massed-based projects and events for the wider community
  • Plan and execute annual signature events and activities, inclusive of providing operational support during time of event
  • Responsible for updating the space booking and event details
  • Hande event enquiries from the Client on space availability and venue rental rates
  • Submission of weekly report on inquiries’ statistics and up-keeping a systematic filing system.
  • Conduct site visits for clients and other sales support
  • Build and maintain rapport with partners and suppliers
  • Conceptualise, plan and execute highly effective events
  • Oversee all aspects of event management and production
  • Handling all necessary licensing issues
  • Be responsible for the coordination of event requirements by clients
  • Coordinate effectively with other departments to facilitate smooth execution of events and ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Consistently offer professional and friendly and engaging service to both clients and colleagues
  • Effective management of logistics

Qualifications
  • Preferred experience in Retail/Hospitality/ Events Management Firms
  • Diploma in Events Management, Leisure, Hospitality, Tourism or other relevant fields
  • Minimum 5 years of industry relevant working experience with managerial experience
  • Strong interpersonal, networking and negotiation skills
  • Proactive and meticulous team player with an eye for details
  • Ability to work under pressure in an events environment
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills (proficiency in Mandarin would be an added advantage due to the need to liaise with Mandarin speaking stakeholders)
  • Ability to multi-task, work under tight deadlines and in a fast-paced working environment
  • Willing to work during weekends when required
Other Information
  • 5 ½ days work week
  • Able to work on weekends and public holidays (off days could be on weekdays)
