Job Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for creating design solutions that have a high visual impact
• Designs are required for a huge variety of products and activities, such as EDMs, Invite cards, stage backdrop, photo wall, emblem, venue entrance arch, fascia board for booths
• Develop creative ideas and concepts, choosing appropriate media and style to meet the client’s objectives.
• The work demands creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software and a professional approach to time, costs and deadlines.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be pursuing a degree in graphic design or related field, 3rd or 4th year required
• Previous internship or related job experience a plus
• Passion for design, color and other forms of visual communication
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work under time constraints and juggle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously in an environment in which priorities and deadlines change frequently
• Demonstrated portfolio that shows strong design and layout skills
• Able to work independently as well as in partnership with the creative team
• Ability to think independently, take direction, follow instructions and accept critiques
• Demonstrate proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite programs like Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
