Job Description
In the fast-paced world of agency PR, a great work ethic is a given. At Fifth Ring, we’re looking for something extra special.
The successful candidate will have personality and drive and will integrate effortlessly into our team. The ability to stay cool, calm and collected under pressure is a must, as is a flair for engaging with clients, media and key suppliers in both formal and informal settings. At Fifth Ring, we don’t do run-of-the-mill, so a creative approach is essential.
Your effective organisational skills and a basic understanding of PR will help you project-manage impactful public relations campaigns that have real, measurable effects on clients’ businesses. You will expertly prioritise your own workload, working closely with colleagues around the world to deliver international, integrated work on time and on budget.

Broadly, you will be tasked with:
- Media monitoring, tracking and clipping client news
- Event planning and coordination
- Developing client reports
- Sharing ideas on creative executions for events
- Press release research and writing
- Research and supporting client work
Key Skills
- Prior experience in communications and/or media is ideal but not compulsory. A degree/diploma in a related field is desirable
- You must be a skilled communicator and comfortable writing accurately in various styles
- You must have a curious mind and a willingness to learn. An interest in the technology sector and business-to-business public relations/communications would also be highly beneficial
- Project management and organisational skills are key
