Currently, FHC is looking for a Junior Accounting Assistant. They are seeking an analytical thinker who has a tremendous desire to learn and possess a breadth of personal and professional core characteristics. (No experience needed)


As a Junior Accounting Assistant, you will have the exciting role of working closely with clients across various industries, namely F&B, Construction and Medical fields which will definitely supplement your prior knowledge on all the basic accounting scope of work. At FHC, they will groom you to advance on to bigger accounting firms!

What Will You Learn


1. Network with and be mentored by one of the best minds and most resourceful people in the field


In the 1st 6 months, you will be attached to a Senior Accounts Manager where they will pave the way for you to boost your skills and provide you with plenty of opportunities to grow your career and make it your own.Their past candidates have successfully moved on to Ernest & Young and Deloitte (two of the Big Four accounting firms in Singapore).


2. Independently create new leads and build a network of contacts


At FHC, you will get a chance to meet clients across various industries, namely F&B, Construction and Medical fields. This is the perfect time for you to improve your communications skills as you learn to interact with people of varying designations and of different sectors. At the same time, you will also integrate classroom knowledge into real world execution as you integrate accounting functions and strategy into the overall business strategy.


3. Gain greater knowledge of all the basic accounting scope of work.


As you perform day to day processing of Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables transactions, you’ll gain insight on different accounting practices. Hone your accounting skills and be meticulous in keeping balance sheet accounts and Accounts Payable. Learn to spot errors and discrepancies quickly while at the same time develop your problem-solving skills.


Your Task


Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.

Provide administrative support and coordination to accounts teams, such as keeping track of scheduled meetings, meeting agendas and monthly deadlines.

Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

No experience needed, as long as you are willing and hungry to learn

Able to work independently, with minimal supervision.
