This position will be both site and office based. Responsibilities are as follows.
- Coordination of all technical activities on assigned projects.
- Plans, schedules, conducts and coordinates assigned engineering work.
- Monitors works for compliance to applicable codes, specifications and accepted engineering practices.
- Ensures effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all disciplines and all other project participants.
- Ensure that work is carried out in compliance to approved Safety Codes.
- Ensure QA/QC Compliance on Finished Floor.
- Preparation and submission of detailed method statements.
- Interaction and coordination with the Client’s designed representative.
- Preparation and submission of monthly status reports and change orders.
- Assist in preparation of engineering project proposals.
- Monthly project status reports and change orders.
- Resolution of Client, engineering, management project issue.
- Budget monitoring and trend tracking.
- Accountable for the successful completion of engineering projects.
Overseas travel for short to mid term projects will be required.
- A degree or diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering or related disciplines.
- 2-3 years experience in the construction industry preferably with a Main Contractor.
- Sufficient technical knowledge, awareness of details and/or strong engineering background.
- Good knowledge of Concrete and/or Concrete Floor Construction is advantageous.
- Conversant in Mandarin and/or another Asian language is advantageous.
- Good interpersonal and effective communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project and/or Primavera software is advantageous.
- Resourceful, positive and independent worker, yet can contribute well as a team player.
Salary will commensurate according to candidates'' Work Experience and Qualification.
