Epikk is a social platform for makers to showcase their creations, connect with other makers, and sell their creative services. We are looking to gather makers from all walks of life to tell their stories and help promote their works and creative talents.

Job Description

We’re looking for an intern to work with our Epikk team to plan, create and continually improve the content which will solidify our brand positioning and engages millions of creative makers out there. This includes social media content research, product tours, educational experiences, site navigation and lots more. As part of our small, nimble team, you’ll also help evolve the Epikk voice and content standards.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and iterate community outreach strategy with founders & core team

- Plan, write and edit social media content

- Work with press members and bloggers to get Epikk reviewed, mentioned and featured on various online and offline publications

- Help makers sell their creations through online + offline methods to facilitate growth and inspire makers around the world to start selling

- Work with the team to shape features on Epikk, based on community feedback


Requirements:

- Experience with writing, editing and/or planning content for the web or mobile (could be for a school publication, company website, personal blog, mobile app, etc.)

- Excellent written and oral communication skills

- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Passion for web & mobile, and familiarity with other social and mobile tools

- Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in English, journalism, information design, new media, human-computer interaction or a related field

- Prior experience with content strategy, user-centered design and/or mobile content a plus
