Job Description
Students from the field of public relations, journalism, literature, media, marketing and mass communications may apply. Only Singaporean or a PR holder can apply for this position.
Length of the internship is negotiable but immediate start is preferred. We will offer full term employment for the right candidate.
Epic Public Relations is a dynamic Singapore based PR agency start up that specialises in fashion and lifestyle, professional services, healthcare and technology sectors. We are looking for an independent individual with a passion to learn the power of public relations as an effective channel in the marketing mix for any brand/company/organization wishing to succeed in a competitive market. The individual must have a creative flair and enjoys writing. They will also have the following qualities:
- Integrity, high sense of responsibility, good work ethics
- Highly communicative and pleasant personality, great attitude and keen to learn new things.
- Adept in MS office, Excel sheets and PowerPoint presentations
- Self-motivated individual with initiative who enjoys working within an entrepreneurial environment
- Able to work independently and in a team with high sense of responsibility
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure, multi-task and still maintain attention to details and composure.
You will be part of a small team where you will accompany the managing director to key client meetings and will be launched straight into client work that will enable you to test out classroom theories in the real business world. Some examples of work you will be involved in include:
- Assist with new client pitches and work with clients as a consultant as required
- Client and account servicing, media coverage reporting
- Copy writing (press releases, media statements, Q&A, media invitations, fact sheets, etc..)
- Media relations and social media
- Researching brands and journalist and bloggers database management
- Event Planning and management
