Entrepid is Singapore's most vibrant and action-oriented entrepreneurship community. We currently have more than 1,000 members, all of whom are small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs. We run programs to assist our members in the acquisition of financial capital, social capital and knowledge capital - all of which are crucial requirements in any new business venture.

We also provide mentorship, incubation services and other business services that aid our members as they look to start up their own businesses. Through this, we make it easier for people to achieve their entrepreneurial aspirations.

[ABOUT THE ROLE]

The selected intern(s) will work closely with Entrepid's management and will receive training and hands-on supervision as he/she takes on the following functions:

- Promote Entrepid's events, activities and programs

- Engage with the entrepreneurial community in Singapore as well as Entrepid's own members to keep them updated

- Assist in the preparation of marketing materials

- Assist in the development of internet and social media marketing content

- Maintain and update member databases on a regular basis

- Work with suitable external merchants to provide benefits and privileges for members

- Attends external networking events and functions to spread the Entrepid brand

This is an extremely people-oriented role and requires the candidate(s) to be naturally outgoing and comfortable with social interaction. Some training will be provided, but those with introverted personalities may not be suitable even after undergoing training.

You will get the opportunity to come into contact with hundreds of entrepreneurs and business owners and expand your own personal network. You will also have the chance to make a difference in the lives of those who aspire to start their own business, but lack the necessary knowledge, contacts or resources.

[REQUIREMENTS]

- Final or penultimate year degree or diploma students preferred

- All nationalities welcome

- Outgoing, extroverted and friendly personality; must be very comfortable with inter-personal interaction even with strangers

- Must have a positive attitude and be willing to learn -- those who are interested in entrepreneurship will be especially strong candidates, and will stand to benefit personally

- Must be fluent in both written and spoken English

- Must be able to commit a minimum of 24 hours per week, for a period of 3 months

- All interns will receive a monthly transportation allowance of $600 per month (pro-rated according to number of days)

- Incentives (e.g. additional allowance, days off) will be provided to those with outstanding performance and contributions
