Entrepid is Singapore’s most action-oriented venture incubator. We assist entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs by making the start-up process as easy as possible and shortening the lead time between ideation and go-to-market. Founded on the principle that entrepreneurship ought to be inclusive, we welcome all kinds of businesses into our fold. We have helped small businesses in industries ranging from tech to F&B to engineering to organic farming. We also run programs which allow our members to quickly acquire social capital, knowledge capital and financial capital.

About The Role

As an Associate Enterprise Consultant at Entrepid, you will be responsible for getting to know entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs, understanding their business objectives, and recommending them appropriate solutions. Essentially, this is a sales role, and involves prospecting, pitching, presenting, closing, relationship management and post-sales admin. We have a list of more than 20 enterprise solutions to recommend to prospective clients, meaning that you will need to be versatile and adaptable, and have a strong interest in the more general aspects of entrepreneurship.

What Are We Looking For?

Entrepid has an extremely open, transparent and flat organizational hierarchy. Our team is our family, and our office is like our second home. We have a deep commitment to talent development, and promising new hires will be mentored and trained by our senior management. This role would be of particular interest for those who are intending to become entrepreneurs at some point in the future.

However, we expect all our team members to be responsible, self-motivated and disciplined. We expect a high level of aggression and activity. Our culture does not support individuals who are looking for a place where they can just stay under the radar and do the minimum; such individuals will be filtered out systematically because they are negative influences on our culture. As such, if you are looking for a ‘stable’ job where you can just coast by doing very little, Entrepid would not be a suitable environment for you.

While we do prefer our Associate Enterprise Consultants to be recent graduates with good degrees, we also recognize that academic achievement is not often the best gauge of a person’s ability as a professional. Candidates with general commercial awareness and diverse life exposure will be at an advantage. In addition, candidates must have a keen interest in entrepreneurship and enterprise, enjoy interacting with people and solving problems.
