Job Description
Commis Cook (Part Time) X 60 - $9-$12 / Hr
Scope of Responsibilities (but not limited to):

Commis Cooks are in-charge of:

  • Maintain a clean and organised work station
  • Be assistant of other kitchen staff when needed
  • Assist the Chefs in daily operations.
  • Prepare fresh foods based on in standard recipes and projection of sales on a daily basis.
  • Prepare sauces / dressing in accordance with menu items.
  • Adhere to the company standards on safe food handling and storage that are in accordance with the NEA prevailing guidelines.
  • Ensure mis-en-place for the daily operation is of good quality and par stock level sufficient in his/her section.

Desired Skills & Expertise:
  • No experience required as training will be provided
  • Must be a team player and work well with others
  • Highly driven with a positive attitude to learn and improve
  • Servers must be able bilingual in English and Mandarin (to communicate with chinese speaking customers)
