with our Email Intelligence Platform. If you have experience with MailChimp, that is a great start -
that's our go-to ESP that we integrate with, though we'll be building a broader suite of platform
integrations in 2015. We help our clients achieve their fullest potential by delivering sophisticated
yet easy-to-use functionality that plugs seamlessly into their existing email marketing efforts.
We'll first get you started with some technical support work for our clients and then coach you up
on our broader development efforts so you can help us build out our world class technology.
About the Role
Ematic Solutions is looking for a Email Marketing Manager to develop and execute the company’s service and marketing emails. The ideal candidate will be a talented, dynamic marketer, experienced in driving successful campaigns, who blends expert email copywriting with an analytical mind and email industry skill and insight.
The Email Marketing Manager will work with business owners to plan, create, and execute email campaigns to drive key metrics, including consumer sales, enterprise lead generation, and learning activity on Ematic Solutions. In addition to writing and building emails for an international, multi-lingual audience, he or she will also be responsible for managing email segmentation, technology implementations, and email delivery and acquisition efforts. The Email Marketing Manager will also work closely with marketing, CRM, and product development to create reporting dashboards and analysis that will help drive overall email strategy.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute all email marketing campaigns
- Gather requirements from business owners
- Write copy for and lay out emails, with support from marketing and design staff
- Formulate and execute end-to-end campaign plans to optimize key traffic and revenue metrics including open rates, CTR, engagement, and conversion
- Manage list segmentation and develop customer segmentation strategies to increase engagement and retention and to get the right message to the right person at the right time.
- Input, test, and send emails using MailChimp. Ensure spam regulation compliance (CAN-SPAM)
- Own all metrics, including deliverability, opens, and clicks, and use results to drive future action
- Build and maintain email calendar and email reporting dashboard and provide key learnings to internal stakeholders
- Work with cross-functional teams including business intelligence, product, engineering, and design to build requirements for email functionality
- Manage relationships with relevant vendors
- Stay current with email marketing best practices, strategies, and industry standards
Skills
- Strong previous email marketing experience, with experience creating and driving successful campaigns
- Highly analytical, with proven ability to communicate insights and action items from data
- Excellent email copywriting skills
- Experience managing multiple projects and working with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated experience managing third-party vendors
