Job Description
A book publishing firm specializing in high-quality illustrated books on luxury living - travel, dining, art, history and culture. We are based in Singapore and supported by offices in Paris, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and Bali.
Job scope includes assisting the Marketing team on the following projects:
Singapore Biodiversity - Our city's first biodiversity encyclopedia produced by NUS, NParks and EDM. Following the launched by President S R Nathan, the book will be marketed to all green companies.
President's Memoirs - Written by President S R Nathan, the book will uncover never before told encounters of his road to presidency and time serving in Office. EDM has received excellent response from major bookstores and expects extensive press coverage on the release of this title, which has been tied closely with the Presidential elections.
Singapore Chic and Shanghai Chic - These luxury travel guidebooks to the most sophisticated destinations within the respective cities, are part of the internationally recognized Chic Collection. New editions of these titles will come with an online social media platform that is expected to increase readership tremendously.
Responsibilities of a Marketing Assistant include:
- Gathering of contact details for an existing database
- Establishing the first point of contact via emails to potential clients from MNCs and government agencies
- Preparation of marketing proposals to secure partnerships with potential clients
- Researching on travel related topics on Singapore and Shanghai
