Job Description: We are a local start-up with an upcoming launch date. We are looking for a dynamic Marketing Intern to join our team. This position will last approximately three months. This is a paid internship.
Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to:
Identify new marketing strategies
Drive traffic through social media
Support/ Assist implementation and execution of marketing campaigns across a variety media channels such as in-store communications, POS, press advertising etc.
Draft /Edit/Proofread copywriting for campaigns including, proposals, reports, emails, flyers, invitations etc.
Manage collateral creation process from design through delivery
General marketing admin duties and other tasks
Requirements
We are looking for an undergraduate student who is majoring in Sales, Marketing or Advertising.
The role is action-packed and fast-paced. The ideal candidate is highly independent and self-starting, and relishes the relative chaos that accompanies an intense early-stage start-up environment.
This person should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with extensive knowledge of Web and social media. PowerPoint, Word and Excel experience is a bonus, and will be considered when choosing the best applicant for this internship position.
