Eatbook is a brand new food review site that does food news and reviews in a fun and engaging way for our readers. The website covers everything from listicles to food trends to the latest news in the world of dining.
Our writing style will be similar to that of our parent company The Smart Local.
As an intern here, you’ll be spending your time exploring the culinary landscape of Singapore through writing. You’ll attend tastings and events at some of the best restaurants and be the first to try the newest cafes in Singapore.
One of the primary features of the website will be area specific food guides. You will be expected to do plenty of travelling while maintaining the energy to do your job. Applicants expecting a desk bound position should take note.
As fun as your experience with us will be, the work can be gruelling and hard. Here’s what we need from you:
You’ll need to be able to write in an engaging fashion while still showing depth.
Knowledge on food and cooking. (What’s poaching?, What’s the difference between coriander and parsley?)
A passion for good food and the industry. (Please don’t call yourself a foodie)
Food photography skills are a plus.
Ability to socialise and make connections.
- Experience in the F&B industry is a plus.
