Dstnct – Art Director

We’re looking for an Art Director with the ability to think conceptually, see beyond what the human mind do not, and synthesis stuffs together to create magic

You’re an individual who is an enthusiast of this industry, but has curiosity and interests outside this business, giving you greater dimension and the ability to express yourself in different ways. You are a visual storyteller, able to connect with both the cultured and the common man on the street.
Your creative artistic juices flow better under pressure, and you are no stranger to tight deadlines. You’re craving to solve that big visual creative eyesore that brands often adopt, but also, able to endure the day-to-day mundanities of creative churning and clients bs*. You’re versatile in work and also willing to train and mentor a young team of graphic artist
You crave the fast pace of a young company with a start-up mentality and the rigour of a big agency. Above all, you challenge the norm.

Skills and Experience

Minimum 3-5 years of Art Directing experience in an agency, with good record of creating campaigns for big brands. Along with the ability to work in a collaborative, energized environment, across all media. Must have good knowledge and understanding of the marketing process. Bonus with video, photography and motion graphics

All employees (be it what level of experience you have and what role you are applying for) selected for this program, will undergo a 3 months probation period
Responsibilities:

• Working with Planner on pitches and retainer accounts.
