Diners World Travel was established in 1972, to cater exclusively to the travel needs of Diners Club members and associated companies. In 1977, the company widened its scope of activities to include the general public and commercial industrial enterprises.
Diners World Travel reorganised in 1984 to become a wholly owned subsidiary of Diners Club, which in turn is owned by Johan Holdings Berhad. Today, Diners World Travel has grown in its range of services to meet the varied needs. Its staff of 80 can handle not only air-ticketing, leisure outbound tours, but also meetings, incentive, convention and events. Sales in 2009 reached SGD90 million.
