This position is to support the Pricing manager on all pricing models and achieving an acceptable profit for all products. He/She will also assist to develop and maintain the pricing programs as well as compiling, analyzing, interpreting and reporting data.
• Ensure customer rate requests/quotations are submitted timely and accurately.
• To evaluate the customers' requirements and provide with best solution, whilst having a prime regard for risk.
• Assist in providing pricing support – both planned and ad hoc requests.
• Assist in preparation of pricing strategy and reports.
• Develop proposal and quotations and identify associated risks involved when providing pricing to Sales Team.
• Support the Pricing Manager, Finance Department, Sales and Marketing Department and Operations in the preparation of the Annual Operating / Strategic plan.
• Identify opportunities and provide recommendations to grow the business
• Prepare weekly / monthly and ad-hoc reports showing operational trends including volumes and productivity, as well as revenue, variable cost and customer profitability information.
• Review monthly margin reports and make recommendations to management for specific customer rate actions based on analysis.
• Undertake any other projects and duties as assigned.
• Work together to product reports and analysis for use by functional department (where necessary)
