- Job Description
- We are looking for a IT Security Solution Consultant to assist in the sales of IT security solution in the enterprise and Government space. The candidate must be willing to station in Singapore. The candidate is expected to pick up and learn new products without formal training but with support from product vendors. The candidate is expected to provide solutioning proposals that meet customer requirements. A strong foundation in IT security, system and network is highly desirable. The candidate must be willing to work in both pre-sales and post-sales role. The candidate must be willing to travel regionally. Background requirements: - Demonstrable capabilities in IT security, system and networking. Skill requirements # Description Technical 1 Technical competence in IT security (E.g. Firewall, IDS, authentication, PKI, malware) 2 Technical competence in networking (E.g. TCP/IP, routing, DNS) 3 Technical competence in Windows OS (E.g. administrator experience, including Active Directory, GPO ) 4 Technical competence in Linux/Unix OS (E.g. administrator experience, comfortable using command line) Soft Skills 5 Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision 6 Strong analytical and problem solving skills 7 Eager to learn, practice and implement new solution sets. 8 Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation and presentation skills
