======= Job Scope =======
We are launching our social networking app locally and are hiring a Social Media Marketing Intern-Associate to support our marketing director. The SMM Intern-Associate will focus on social media marketing and manage the app's various social media platforms. He or she is also expected to lead strategic marketing planning (i.e. how to better leverage social media to increase adoption and conversion rates).
======= Job requirements =======
An ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
1) Social media platform management abilities (fb/twitter/blog), required
2) Facebook advertising experience, preferred
3) Conversant about social networking related topics (must be able to recruit and engage followers using various techniques including articles of interest, conversations etc.), preferred
4) Can build newsletters for users/followers, preferred. We use Mailchimp to manage our user database, very intuitive platform.
5) Meticulous, organised, deadline driven and efficient, required
6) Socially outgoing and love to attend networking events/parties, preferred
7) Creative and have some events planning background, a bonus
======= Others =======
Our SMM Intern-Associate will not be required to be desk bound. We strongly encourage work mobility (HEY where's the fun in working in the same place all the time?). However, he or she must attend weekly meetings and has to report to our marketing director daily on progress.
Please note salary is just a guide; actual remuneration will be dependent on experience and abilities. Internship has potential to convert into full-time opportunity with the company, dependent on fit and performance.
